Years ago, an advertisement campaign launched by the Marche Region and with the participation of the actor Dustin Hoffman, borrowed the title “The Infinite” of the Leopardian poem to define our region “Infinite Marche”, “Infinite Beautiful” and invited tourists “to discover it infinitely”. Oh, yes, because the Marches, that are in the centre of Italy and in the centre of the Adriatic Sea, and that are the only Italian region with a plural name, are also defined “Italy in a region”. That is why the whole typical Italian landscape is present here: the sea, the coasts, the mountains, the rolling hills with the typical cultivations, the medieval villages, the quality of life, the hard-working and tenacious population, facing adversities and getting up with determination.
