Located to the north of Mezzavalle, it takes its name from the Trave, a long natural rocky tongue that extends out for about a kilometre into the sea at water level, like a natural pier. The “moscioli” (local name for mussels) grow here in a natural way as on all the rocks of the Conero Riviera and their fishing is strictly ruled. There are no bathing facilities and swimming is partly forbidden, due to the numerous landslides of the fragile cliffs perched over the sea.
