It is located on the slopes of Sirolo and is an enchanting beach of fine gravel, half-moon shaped, easily reachable both on foot and by car. It takes its name from the famous natural Urbani Cave that is in its southern side. There is also a concrete pier protecting the beach from sea storms. It is even suitable for families because the water is not immediately deep. There are some lidos with restaurants and short stretches of free beach.
HOW TO GET THERE AND WHERE TO PARK
If you stay in Sirolo we suggest you to go down on foot, following the road under the Cortesi Theatre, that will lead you to the beach in a few-minute walk in the woods. For the return uphill, if you do not want to walk, you can use the shuttle bus service. The beach is also reachable by car and, if you get up early in the morning, you can park in the first paid parking just above the beach, near the Vittoria Restaurant that is also an impressive viewpoint. If the parking is full, there is a larger parking area in the woods just under the village. You can also leave the car before reaching the centre and use the shuttle bus service, active only in summer.
