It is the first cove of Numana Alta (High Numana) situated just behind the tourist port. A wonderful place with an incredible view where you can enjoy the sound of the sea in complete peace. There is a lido and a restaurant with a sea view and small free beach areas on the both sides of the lido. The beach is recommended for both families and the ones who want to enjoy the sea in peace. On the border between the Spiaggiola and the Spiaggia del Frate (the Friar Beach) there is the Turtle Cove, an area dedicated to the care of injured sea turtles.
HOW TO GET THERE AND WHERE TO PARK
It is reachable in two ways:
– It is reachable from the centre of Numana on foot, crossing the central square and going straight on until the restaurant “Il Galeone”, here go down Cristoforo Colombo road until the restaurant of the Spiaggiola. In this way we recommend you to park near the centre of Numana where you can find both free and paid parking area (Maxi parking with cheap daily rate and free shuttle bus service).
– Walking through the tourist port and, heading to the north, you reach the Spiaggiola. In this way we suggest you to park in Numana Bassa (Low Numana) in the seafront promenade, in the toll parking areas opposite the lidos or in the Maxi parking of Piazzale Adriatico with cheap daily rate and free shuttle bus service.
